Journals of the Unknown
A downloadable game
While working as one of The Other Guys making Journals of the Unknown, I was responsible for game mechanics, interactions and cutscenes design, implementation and programming using Adobe Flash and AS3, as well as level design, assets placeholding with indications for art team, dialogue writing and release process of weekly episodic narrative point-and-click mystery-adventure game filled with puzzles and hidden objects scenes for Facebook on web browsers and mobile devices.
When I was made team leader, my tasks included management of deadlines, budget, backlogs and file structure; planning of character and story arcs, lore, myth, and additional content; proofreading, testing for bugs and playability; creation of game documents for headlines, locations concept and concept art, character concept, backstories and concept art, high and low concept story scripts, cutscene scripts and storyboards; team leadership, team motivation, daily meetings schedule through agile methodologies, coordinating development, content, writers, sound, and art areas, advising third parties on implementations in terms of efficiency, cost, time, profitability, and user engagement (sustainability).
